ANATOMY OF WIRE: Delimitation of the Body in Space.

This project consists of a series of three corsets made with wire and iron, with female form, and with flowers or feathers attached to them. This elements play with the idea of the fragility of the feminine body and at the same time with the concept of coldness, harshness and aggression, we might say, that is provided by the iron and the wire, alluding also to the idea of the “woman-object” or “decorative woman” but without any human value, and the concept of corset as a painful and oppressive element that has accompanied women for centuries.
